In my research in Clare, MI, the first thing that I noticed was that George had changed his name to Whiteside. Like all Whitside's it is a continual fight to keep the E out of the middle of our name.
16. George Burton4 Whitside (William H.3, James2, John1)17 was born January 25, 1853 in Delhi, Norfolk, Ont, and died August 14, 1929 in Clare, Clare, MI. He married Ladusca Malcolm August 30, 1877 in Knox Church, Woodstock, Ont., Canada. She was born 1860 in Teeterville, Norfolk, Ont, and died 1939.
